HAUS is an access control platform for large residential estates and business premises. It gives your security team what it needs to carry out your decisions at every entrance, on every shift.
Residents invite their visitors, and security lets them in.
Residents and tenants decide who they let in and arrange their visitors through the HAUS app. Your security officers confirm each visitor at the entrance, and management oversees the whole property from the HAUS portal.
Visitors are expected before they arrive
Residents and tenants tell security who is coming. The officer at the entrance can then confirm a visitor in moments and turn away anyone who is not expected.
You can withdraw a pass at any time
Residents, staff and contractors carry a pass issued on your authority. If someone should no longer have access, you withdraw their pass and it stops working at the entrance straight away.
Nothing leaves without your approval
Anyone taking goods off the property needs a gate pass that management has signed off. Owners and landlords can be confident that a unit is not being emptied without their knowledge.
Help is one button away
In an emergency, a resident or tenant can alert the officers on duty from their phone, and the alert tells them which door needs help.
When everyone on the property works to the same rules, the entrance stays calm.

A residential estate and a business park need different things at the entrance. HAUS is set up to suit each property, and you use only the parts that apply to yours.
Residential estates
On a residential estate, HAUS protects residents and their guests and manages the contractors and domestic staff who come in to work. Homes let for short stays are covered as well, and their guests follow the same rules as any other visitor.
Business premises
In office parks, shopping centres, warehouses and mixed-use developments, each business issues passes to its own staff, while management keeps authority over the property as a whole. Visitors are received at the entrance in the same way, whichever tenant they have come to see.

A security system holds personal information about the people who live and work on your property. HAUS is designed to protect it.
- Management accounts need two steps to sign in
- Each sign-in needs a password and a one-time code sent to the account holder's email and phone.
- People see only what their role requires
- A security officer sees what is needed at the entrance. A property manager sees the records for the properties they look after, and nothing beyond them.
- Residents' comings and goings stay private
- HAUS does not track when residents arrive or leave. If a record of their movements is ever needed, for example by the police, HAUS reviews the request before anything is shared.
- Kenyan data protection law applies
- All personal information is processed in line with the Data Protection Act, 2019 (Kenya).
